Listen now…Powered by podomatic.com | RSS feed First published 6 January, 2009 About Billy LiarBilly Liar is a Scottish acoustic punk poet who sings up-tempo acoustic anthems about life, love, longing, falling out and falling down. He gigs regularly in the UK, and has supported Oi Polloi, UK Subs and Amen. About Dirk MarkhamDirk Markham grew up in Aboyne, a village in "Royal" Deeside. Dirk has been making experimental recordings and teaching himself every intrument he can get his hands on since his years studying mental philosophy at Edinburgh in the late 90s. His music is mainly instrumental although occasionally the odd folk-rock song pops up out of nowhere. Dirk has been residing in Berlin for the last three years where he works for the label Monika Enterprise. His recent works include tracks on Ryan Van Winkle's album "I hate myself, i'm a genius, i ruin everything, im so lonely" and a mini-album of Christmas songs called "advent". In 2008 Dirk released Psycho-acoustic scultptures Vol. 4. |
