Other SPL bookgroupsThree bookgroups and a special study series to choose from… Round TableThis informal, friendly evening gives you the freedom to choose for yourselves what poetry you'll read. With as many different approaches and passions as there are readers round the table, discussions truly take off. Led by group members.
Where: Scottish Poetry Library, Edinburgh. Dates: Mondays 20 October, 17 November, 15 December Time: 6 - 8pm Cost: Free (voluntary £1 donation for tea/biscuits) Nothing But The PoemRenew your love of poetry with this fresh approach to shared reading. In these relaxed discussions you won't need any background knowledge, or advance reading; you'll simply come fresh to the text of single poems, take the time to read deeply and let new discoveries emerge - without the pressure of reviews, criticism and hype. This is based on the 'Shared Inquiry' method of facilitating discussions. Facilitated by SPL staff.
Where: Scottish Poetry Library, Edinburgh Dates: Twice a month - come to as many or as few sessions as you want.
