Reading room

The doors of the Scottish Poetry Library's home in Edinburgh are open all year round. We have thirteen collections in venues round Scotland, and readers and friends all over the world.

But what if you can't visit? Or what if you only have odd moments in which to read? And what if you just want some poetry suggestions for your booklist? Come to the Reading Room, and our parent website at www.spl.org.uk, where we're opening the virtual doors to answers, recommendations and a growing community of readers.

SearchSearch the online catalogue, discover new poets, come for a poem you can read in five minutes, or an online reading group that will encourage you to spend comfortable hours reading and writing about poetry books.
